This is named after a series of missiles by the Chinese. Somewhere I read that the latest Dong Feng was the largest ICBM ever, but now I can't find the source. Ah, well. Having come across the 200 Mt card, we needed something to carry it. (This was before we scrounged a copy of Nuclear Escalation from eBay.) It proved too frustrating to have a 200 Mt waiting for a Saturn with UFO tech. The stealth bit was there because (a) I thought we should have parity between bombers and missiles and (b) I needed something to make this more than merely a big Saturn. Ironically, as far as I can remember, no one has deployed this card yet. |
