May Day

Card
Text

Your nation holds a garish public display of its latest military equipment.

Draw and reveal cards from the until you have revealed four weapon systems or warheads. may keep any or all of these, discarding one card for each one kept.

Cards you refuse are discarded; non-weapons, nonwarhead cards are reshuffled into the deck.

Additional Notes and Information:

This is much like Rearmament -- just another card to let you cycle your hand. May Day, for those too young (or insulated) to remember, was World Socialist Day. The Soviets would usually have a huge rally in Red Square and parade the latest and greatest of their military hardware. I suppose the point was to impress and intimidate the West, but I think it really just served as a convenient way for Western intelligence agencies to get a handle on Soviet R&D.
