It has been said that sarcasm has no place in the classroom.  If that's so, neither do I, because I can be very sharp-tongued.  Despite all the dire predictions of crushed egos, however, my kids seem to respond positively to the witticisms and comments I dole out.  Evidence to this effect lies in the list of such remarks compiled by my students over the years. Since I find them humorous, and I want to preserve them, they are repeated below.  If you're not a member of that class, these are all out of context and probably not half as funny.  Too bad ... this page isn't meant for you, anyway.
