First, a confession.  This is really being written and posted in 2000 October -- late October, at that -- and not in 2000 July.  I really want Voices to be semi-annual (at worst) but for various reasons, that hasn't happened.  Those reasons include hard disk crashes, busy schedules, and of course, simple laziness and writer's block.  Also, the outpouring of response has not been all that I had hoped, that is, it hasn't been anything at all.  I don't mind singing to an empty recital hall but it's harder to keep on schedule.  :)

Anyway, all that aside, this is the second edition and it's beginning relatively well.  Voices in the Wilderness is now living at ubidubium.net (you can read a short article on why I chose that name) and is more or less well.  I can't say my muse has been prodding me too harshly, but what I have produced, I have posted.  A lot of this is still for the Bard workshops, and I want to say Thank You to those kind souls, who've made it safe for me to write and to publish, if only in this desultory way.
